As many of you know, the current district29mx.com site has been hacked several times in the past few months. This is due to a security flaw in the software being used to manage the site. I have the option to upgrade the current software or choose a new platform.

As I understand, there is someone else who has volunteered to manage the official district site, but I haven’t heard anything as of yet. As a result I am puting this in place until a decision is made.

In the meantime to save myself time in securring the old site, I  have decided to utilize a new platform that is based on a blogging platform that should be easier for everyone to use. If everyone chooses, we can stay with this new platform or see what else is being offered.

A few notes regarding the site, as we have deleted the old management software due to it’s security vulnerabilities.

• Promoters must register with the site in order to publish any announcements, Existing accounts were not transferred to the new site.
• Only official District Eventsand information  may be posted to this site
• The 2010 Points will be incorporated soon.

Promoters, make sure you register to post to the site.
